Did you know that many people prefer to save without using paper coupons?
For most frugal people it is all too well known that using Manufacturer’s Coupons like these ones is by far one of the most accessible and easiest ways to save on grocery shopping. It is like having cash ready to be printed, or, like finding a $20 bill on your way to the grocery store; you would pick it up and use it, right? At least, that’s how I see coupons, like real hard cold cash the manufacturers want to give me, just to say thank you for buying their products!
However, reality is that Couponing is NOT for everyone. Many people are okay using in-store discount coupons at department stores but simply don’t like to use grocery coupons, mostly because they don’t like dealing with the clipping, the amount of coupons, and the matching, and selecting at the store. . . and that’s okay; we have to respect that!
The thing is that you don’t necessarily have to be a couponista to be frugal, and save on your groceries! There are many other ways to save, and this is a list of the most commonly used tricks to save on your purchases, even without using coupons! Most of these tips apply to any type of purchase you make.
I'm a big [strike that], I'm a HUGE user of antibacterial/disinfectant spray cleaner.
I use it constantly, and in such a liberal way that I can easily go through several bottles a month, as I use it everywhere around the house, wherever there's need to clean and disinfect.
From the kitchen, to the bathrooms, to floor spills, to carpet spot-cleaning . . . you name it! That means that buying a good quality disinfectant spray can be quite expensive, as they cost anywhere from $2 to $2.50 each.
So what do I do to save every month?
