Make your life easier with these simple yet useful tricks!
I am always on the search to find ways to make my life easier by doing the same thing faster or in a more efficient way. If there is a way, I'll try to find it!
It does not have to be the invention of the wheel, but simple little things here and there, add up to a lot of time saved on things you do around the house.
These are some of my own favorite hacks at home . . . and I know you'll love them as much as I do!
Refilling, Recycling, and Saving Money!
Oh, bottled water . . . one thing that everyone loves, not only because of the health benefits of drinking water, but also because of its grab-and-go convenience that actually encourages drinking more water, and . . . let's admit it, it is trendy, and makes us look cool while holding one!
I do too love bottled water, but the frugal girl in me refused to pay for it, especially when I do have a water filter integrated in my refrigerator, making buying bottled water defeat the purpose of having one.
Do you love to find new uses for things that you already have?
I don't know if you feel the same way, but I looove when I discover great new uses for things that I already have, or things that are about to hit the recycling bin.
Sometimes, we think so hard about recycling that we stop being creative to reuse and/or repurpose simple things around the house!
This is a simple meat wrapping mesh, but it's not only that, it's a great idea that will save you time and money.
One day, I looked at this item, and I said "wow, I can use that"! I've been doing this trick for years, and it works great, and now that I have my Blog, I want to share it with you!
We all need organizing everywhere in the house, so, here is a simple, yet great idea to help you organize anywhere you have small items . . . and the best part? it does not cost a thing!
I love when I find great practical uses for items like this!
I am a very practical person, and, unless it is a craft just to keep the kids busy, I only do a craft when it is something with a very useful purpose, that would save me either time around the house, or money by not having to buy something . . . OR preferable both! ☺
This is a craft that I really enjoyed doing, because all of the materials you already have at home, the paper rolls are free, and the best part is that you get 3 different practical uses with the same craft . . . how cool is that! . . . Oh, and last but not least, it is a super easy project!
Do you know how this simple item can help you get organized?
If you have little ones that you still need to help getting ready for school in the morning, this idea is a real big helper. If you have more than one kid, or if you work outside the house, you know how hectic it could be in the morning when you have two kids asking you where to find their shirt, while trying to get everything else ready, including yourself.
With a little organization, clever tricks, and the help of your kids, you can make mornings a lot easier for everyone!
I LOVE to find great uses for things that I already have around the house!
And if you are like me, you'll love this project; an easy and fun way to give greeting cards a whole new life! It is wonderful to receive greeting cards, and some of them are so beautiful, that it is almost painful to throw them away, but at the same time, it is almost impossible to hold on to all of them.
I know that some people prefer to keep every greeting card they receive, but, if like me, you only keep some of them, keep those that you about to discard and easily give them new life, and turn them into beautiful and practical items you can really use!
