Do you have Emergency Contact in your cellphone?
Almost every cellphone comes with an Emergency Call screen that allows you to call 911, and I think this is a wonderful feature. However, I truly believe that this screen should be accessible to the phone owner so that s/he can set at least one personal contact number for an emergency or lost phone case.
Unfortunately that's not the case, and this feature has been locked by the cellular companies, and my best guess is that this has been done on purpose, probably to create and sell apps that offer this feature, and/or the purchase of future phone models that will probably have this option available. |
