I am so excited to share with you my first Recipe from my Food Blog! It's been a project I have been dreaming of for a little while, and it has finally come true with my very own Apple Cinnamon Parfait!
This is the story of my recipe: One mid-morning, I was craving for a one of those yogurts that come with crunchy granola. I did have an apple yogurt in my refrigerator, but did not have any granola at home, and I didn't feel like going to the grocery store. Out of the sudden, I realized that I did have my Malt-O-Meal® Cinnamon Toasters cereal and some delicious red apples in the refrigerator, and it all clicked: you know, apples . . . cinnamon! So I just decided to make an Apple Cinnamon Parfait, and it simply turned out soooo delicious!
This is how I made it . . .
I'm not going to be shy about bragging of how absolutely amazing it looks, and how deliciously and appetizing my parfait turned out!
It is so tempting, that even your picky kids will want some when they know it is made with Malt-O-Meal® Cinnamon Toasters! It is not only delicious, but so easy to make, that all it takes is about 5 minutes! And to make things even more awesome, Malt-O-Meal® is giving you this awesome coupon to save $1 on your purchase! Their cereals are absolutely high quality, and the value you get for your money has not comparison!
All you just need is Malt-O-Meal® Cinnamon Toasters cereal, red apples, and yogurt (not featured on the picture) . . .
. . . and to layer all the ingredients. It is that simple!
The results . . . just heavenly!
Here's the recipe!

All the amounts on the recipe depend directly on the size of the cup you are using for your Parfait, and how many parfaits you want to make.
On this recipe, my cup is about 5 ounces, and I did 5 layers altogether: 3 layers of yogurt, and 2 layers of cereal and apples. You can vary this as you want.
For this recipe I did 2 Parfaits, so based on my cup size, I needed:
(Based on 5 layers)
I have done the Parfaits and place them in the refrigerator for 1 day, and the cereal stayed crunch for that long. I have never left it longer than a day in the refrigerator, so I don’t know long the cereal could stay crunchy. I’ve never had to guess, because they never last that long! ☺
I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I did, and that you can share it with your friends and family!
